【Key Qualifications】：

• Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills, ability to convey rigorous mathematical concepts and considerations to non-experts.

• Practical experience with and theoretical understanding of algorithms for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection

• Working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL, and large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark

• Ability to implement data science pipelines and applications in a general programming language such as Python, Scala,&nbs***bsp;Java

• Ability to comprehend and debug complex systems integrations spanning toolchains and teams

• Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the patterns

• Creativity to engineer novel features and signals, and to push beyond current tools and approaches

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both Mandarin Chinese and English

• Engage with others to find opportunities, understand requirements, and translate those requirements into technical solutions

• Design data science/machine learning approach, applying tried-and-true techniques&nbs***bsp;developing custom algorithms as needed by the business problem

• Collaborate with data engineers and platform architects to implement robust production real-time and batch decisioning solutions

• Ensure operational and business metric health by monitoring production decision points

• Investigate adversarial trends, identify behavior patterns, and respond with agile logic changes

• Communicate results of analyses to business partners and executives

• Research new technologies and methods across data science, data engineering, and data visualization to improve the technical capabilities of the team

【Education & Experience】：

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operations Research&nbs***bsp;related field such as Math, Engineering, Economics

【职位二】: Data Analyst Intern

【Summary】:

Intern will join our GC channel sales team to develop and implement business and sales strategies. Here, you will learn firsthand how a consumer electronics company of Apple’s size leverages data and strong reseller partnerships to serve the world’s largest, most dynamic smartphone market. An integral part of strategic planning, our analysts tackle new business problems everyday to identify and communicate actionable data that have real business impact. 

【Description】：

• Track, analyze, and report sales KPI, consumer offers, etc.

• Analyze consumer electronics market size and consumer demand trends, including but not limited to smartphone, tablet, personal computer, wearables, etc.

• Analyze retail channel changes and support development of related route-to-market strategy, including both offline and online retail

• Evaluate program performance both qualitatively and quantitively, highlighting risks and opportunities

• Support development of new retail&nbs***bsp;performance improvement programs

• Help launch and track the implementation of pilot programs

【Experience / Skills Required】：

• Open to all majors with minimum commitment of 3 months (prefer 6+)

• Analytical mind with good business sense

• Data-driven and quantitative skills are a MUST

• Capable of critical thinking and creative problem-solving

• Ability to communicate/present complex ideas effectively & efficiently

• Excel proficiency required (Pivot Table, Lookup, and other critical functions for data cleaning and analysis)

• Tableau and Python strongly preferred
