Marketing Tech China Intern
If you love to build the most innovative eCommerce marketing technology, please join the Marketing Technology China team at eBay China Center of Excellence (CCOE) in Shanghai. The team will
- build an intelligent and personalized digital system to improve client shopping experience and increase the GMB for eBay;
- build a big data processing pipeline and applications to enable real time feeding, bidding & attribution;
- build highly scalable services to serve large traffic volume;
We are looking for an intern to participate in projects that leverage cutting-edge techniques in marketing systems to create solutions to benefit millions of customers. You will be offered a great opportunity to build a large-scale system in collaboration with peer engineers and scientists.
Job Responsibilities
- Active contributor on design, development, test of complex, multi-tier data driven applications.
- Work with other full-time engineers to develop innovative solutions that meet needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability while meeting realistic implementation schedules and adhering to development goals and principles.
- Develop industry and product technical expertise.
- Understand the broader business context around their area and provide intelligent solution.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. program in computer science, machine learning, mathematics, statistics, computational physics, operational research or other highly quantitative fields
- Proficient in Python, C++ or Java programming, good understanding on big data technology, familiar with open source technology
- Has experiences to write production level code
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark and Hive is a plus.
- Hard working, critical thinking, be proactive. Strong personal interest in learning, researching and creating novel solutions with high business impact.
Additional Requirements:
1. Expect to graduate at year 2020 or 2021.2. Be able to work at least 3 days per week for at least 3 months.
